Dr. Umesh Kumar is a dedicated educator and researcher specializing in Environmental Engineering and Environmental Biotechnology. With 14 years of teaching experience, he has contributed significantly to academia, fostering critical thinking and collaboration among students. He currently serves as a Senior Assistant Professor at Amity University, Patna, Bihar. Previously, he held leadership roles, including Head of the Environmental science & Technology Department at Marwadi University, Rajkot.
Dr. Kumar holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from RK University, Rajkot, focusing on adsorption-based technology for removing Methylene Blue dye using banana plant biochar. His research explores sustainable water treatment solutions with potential applications in the textile industry. He also possesses M.Tech and B.E. degrees in Biotechnology from Vinayaka Missions University.
